Domino's Pizza St Helens Forced to Close Early Due to Adverse Weather Conditions

As you are all aware Merseyside and Lancashire were hit by some terrible weather conditions on Tuesday January 5th 2010.

The radio and television have been full of stories of treacherous roads and of people being unable to get into work, of abandoned cars and school closures.

Well, we've been hit too. Although we had some valiant efforts from our staff, (it took one of our drivers 2 hours to get here from Wigan), and we managed to open on time, unfortunately we took the decision to close early due to the weather conditions.

Having driven around the area, suffered numerous wheelspins, witnessed several minor accidents and even got stuck in the snow at the back of the shop for 30 minutes we realised that for the sake of driver and staff safety we had no alternative but to close for the day.

And what a day for it to happen on - Two For Tuesday!

Obviously as I write this (at 6pm), we have no way of knowing when we will be able to re-open but we hope it will be on Wednesday or Thursday.

And when we do, we will be having a Grand Re-Openiing Offer along the same lines as Two for Tuesday - and depending on how much stock there is to shift, it could be even better!
